From the lounge and bedroom there are spectacular views of the Lakeland fells to the West, with Blencathra and Skiddaw in the distance. The Dower Tower provides a most convenient base from which to explore the beautiful North Pennines, the Eden Valley and also the Lake District, Ullswater is 6 miles, whilst Keswick and Bassenthwaite are approximately 12 miles. The centre of the attractive market town of Penrith is less than 1 mile and provides excellent shopping and leisure facilities within easy walking distance. |
